e-cards

Recently I was working on Colorado.gov e-card and photo submission project. I was involved only in creative part of it and not the development of the service. But it occurred to me that I use e-card services quite a bit. Here are my favorite: Yahoo Greetings, Pingg, Hallmark. What are yours?

knitting fun

About a year ago friends from work got me into knitting. I learned it in HS, but did not remember much. Found millions of great videos on how to knit on YouTube and started the projects: scarf, another scarf, arm warmers, v-neck vest, flowers.. Knitting somehow calms me down.

Frank Lloyd Wright - Taliesin West

Frank Lloyd Wright was an American architect, interior designer, writer and educator. What comes to mind when I think of Frank Lloyd Write architecture?
Simple, open, unique, natural, peace, freedom, respect.

American West

Last weekend I went to Monument Valley, the isolated red mesas and buttes surrounded by empty, sandy desert. Beautiful.

Project: Human

Meet Agata 'Endo' Nowicka, single mum and Polish illustration superstar. Agata created autobiographical comic book dealing with a young woman's pregnancy and the breakup with the child's father. Seems like a pretty interesting thing! I am trying to get a copy of it.

Tragic Kingdom, The Art of Camille Rose Garcia

i saw the 'Tragic Kingdom, The Art of Camille Rose Garcia' in a bookstore, and i could not stop looking at it. i visited her website and just couldn't have enough. i like everything; the concept, texture, color, the tragedy and playfulness of her projects.
she mentioned on her site that, if you like her art, you may use it as inspiration for a tattoo! very cool!
